JobNearby is a hyperlocal job platform focused on connecting 18+ job seekers with nearby employers across India.
Why we exist
Most large job platforms are built for corporate roles in metros. In smaller cities and towns, people looking for part-time, full-time, retail, delivery, coaching, salon, café and other everyday jobs rarely find a platform that fits them. Employers in those same towns cannot easily reach local candidates either. JobNearby exists to close that gap.
Who JobNearby is for
- Students and 18+ job seekers looking for local part-time or full-time work.
- Freshers, 10th-pass and 12th-pass candidates who want honest local opportunities.
- Local businesses — cafés, shops, salons, coaching centers, offices, event teams and more — who need reliable nearby hires.
Where we operate
We are currently focused on Dinhata, Cooch Behar and nearby areas in West Bengal, and we are expanding to more Indian cities based on real employer demand. New locations are added when there is genuine hiring activity, not before.
What we do not do
- We do not charge job seekers to register or apply.
- We do not create fake job listings or fake employer verifications.
- We do not guarantee a job to any candidate or a hire to any employer.
