Simple rules to keep yourself safe while applying to local jobs.
Never pay money for a job
No genuine employer asks for a registration, deposit, training or verification fee. If any employer, agent or middle-person asks you to pay to get a job, walk away and report it.
Do not share sensitive details early
- Never share bank account or UPI PIN with an employer.
- Do not share Aadhaar or PAN photos before you meet the employer in person.
- Meet only at the actual business location or a public place.
Check the listing
- Does the job title, salary and location look realistic?
- Is the company name recognisable in your area?
- Are working hours and duties written clearly?
